Visiting Dujiangyan Yaan Wolong Panda Base Optional Volunteering Discount Tickets

Overview

Dujianyan Panda Base is one of the few bases offer panda volunteer program in China. The full day program include panda food making and features of documentary video of releasing panda to the wildness. Accompanied by a professional panda expert who will introduce you the topics of the panda discovery, the history of panda in China, the classification, and panda conservation. Dujiangyan Panda Base is dedicated to the study of disease control and rescue of wild pandas where you will contribute to the conservation of endangered panda bears! ***Starting from April 25, 2024, panda volunteers will not be allowed to enter the panda enclosure, and the arrangement of clean the panda enclosures & collect panda poop will be canceled. ***Any activities missed due to being late will not be rescheduled, and guests will bear the consequences.

• A current valid passport is required on the day of travel • Please provide the passport information for insurance

Pickup Information

We pick up any hotels within the 3rd ring of Chengdu city. You will be collected an additional fee RMB100 for the hotel located outside the 3rd ring road. You will be collected an additional fee RMB200 for Shuangliu airport pickup or drop-off. You will be collected an additional fee RMB300 for Tianfu airport pickup or drop-off.

The panda base is non-specified. We will select a base with a small number of people on the day.(Dujiangyan/Yaan/Wolong)

Group tour size 1-15 people.

No physical contact like touching or holding pandas.

Panda volunteering requirements: 6-70, healthy, no infectious diseases.

During the holidays, we conduct the activity either at Wolong Panda Base or Ya'an Bifengxia Panda Base.

No perfume, no cologne, no nail polish, be healthy (don’t get cold).
