1. Popocatepetl
"The Popocatépetl volcano is the second highest mountain in Mexico and is located within the Izta-Popo National Park. During our hike, we will have this great colossus as a companion in the landscape. Popocatépetl is an active volcano, so if we're lucky, we might witness some fumaroles or large columns of smoke rising from its crater — always from a safe distance permitted by the authorities."

Hiking in Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl National Park is a truly unforgettable experience. While we’re there, we’ll learn about the local wildlife and plants, and check out a scale model of the volcanoes showing the main landmarks and their elevations. Your guide will use this model to walk you through the route we’ll be taking and explain what to expect along the way.

5. Restaurant "El Monte Popocatépetl"
This is a lunch stop. After the hike, we can eat at a very comfortable restaurant located within the forest. The food is varied, with Mexican cuisine being the most notable. This place is the last stop we'll visit on our mountain adventure.
