1. Chureito Pagoda
The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings. The location offers spectacular views of Mount Fuji in combination with the pagoda, especially during the cherry blossom season in mid April when there are hundreds of trees in bloom and during the autumn color season which usually takes place in the first half of November. The spot is particularly popular among photographers as it allows for some wonderfully stereotypical shots of Japan.

2. Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station
The Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station (富士スバルライン五合目, Fuji Subaru Line Gogōme, also known as Yoshidaguchi 5th Station or Kawaguchiko 5th Station) lies at approximately the halfway point of the Yoshida Trail, which leads from Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine at the mountain's base to the summit of Mount Fuji. 3. Oshino Hakkai
A beautiful collection of eight ponds are scattered around Oshino Hakkai, each with its very own story to tell Hakkai, or "Eight Seas," refers to the eight pools of water that are the main attraction at Oshino Hakkai. Bridges and pathways lead you around and over these tranquil ponds. The traditional thatched roof buildings, slowly spinning water wheels, and amazing view of Mt. Fuji all transport you to another era

4. Lake Kawaguchiko
By far the most visited of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Kawaguchiko serves as the main point of entry to this famous lake region. It is the second largest of the Five Lakes in terms of surface area and the second most shallow with a depth of only 14.6 meters. It has a surface elevation of approximately 830 meters, which accounts for its relatively cool summers and icy winters. The area surrounding Lake Kawaguchiko is well-developed in terms of tourist infrastructure, with many lakeside hotels, hot springs, windsurfing facilities, campsites, and excursion boats. This makes it a popular weekend destination, with many visitors partaking in outdoor activities such as sports fishing, hiking, yachting, and cycling.

5. Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine
The shrine is called “Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja,” “jinja” being the word for “shrine.” “Sengen,” with the old reading of “asama,” is related to Shinto animistic worship of volcanoes and Sengen branch shrines circle the mountain. The Mt. Fuji has attracted people with its beauty while exposing the threat of eruption since ancient times. Originally, a person cannot enter the sacred mountain as the God’s place. People hoped that by purifying the body and mind to climb a steep mountain. Then Fuji Pilgrims “Fujikoh” appeared and exploded in the Edo period. Numerous warlords throughout Japan’s history favored this shrine, including Takeda Shingen, one of the most famous military leaders of the Warring States period. Konohanasakuya-hime-no-mikoto as the main god, which is enshrined the main structure with her husband Ninigi-no-mikoto and her father Ohyamazumi-no-kami. God, wife and husband are to protect the marital harmony and the happiness of the family with her father god.

6. Herb Garden Tabinikki Fujikawaguchiko Garden
Starting with a 13-meter-high observation deck offering one of the most beautiful views of Mount Fuji in Japan, the area is filled with photo-worthy spots that will make you stop and reach for your camera. Inside the area, you’ll also find attractions such as Fuji Dog Run and Fuji Panorama Cafe, offering many different ways to enjoy your visit. At Fuji View Hill - Fuji-san Deck, we invite you to spend a memorable moment of your journey beneath the breathtaking views of Mount Fuji, surrounded by scenery that changes beautifully with the seasons. 7. Lake Yamanaka
Lake Yamanakako is the largest and closest of the Fuji Five Lakes to Mount Fuji, located in Yamanashi Prefecture. Sitting at an elevation of 980 meters, it is a popular year-round resort known for its sweeping, unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, water sports, and fresh pond smelt (wakasagi) fishing
