End Point

Itinerary
1. Explore the most emblematic monument in all of Greece listed by UNESCO, with an expert and official guide exclusively in Spanish. The visit begins with the historical, mythological and cultural context of this wonderful space.
2. We will visit the famous Parthenon listed by UNESCO as one of the most important buildings of antiquity for its perfection and harmony. Built 2,500 years ago, we will discover its optical refinements and all its legends. We will explain the history of its construction and the phases by which it became a church during the Byzantine period and a mosque during the Ottoman occupation. We will learn about its decoration and looting up to the restoration work in force.
3. Monumental entrance built entirely of marble to impress the pilgrim of the time and the tourist today. Due to its strategic position, the Propylaea functioned as a funnel in times of war thanks to its impressive topography. Discover why it was built with different types of columns. Essential point in the history of the Acropolis.
4. A true architectural jewel built on the monumental entrance in honor of the goddess Athena Victorious. A work carried out by the Athenians just after the victories obtained against the Persians, it achieves its goal to this day: To remember from generation to generation the most culminating moment of all Greece, the golden age.

With an incredible capacity of 17,000 spectators, its chosen space on the slope of the Acropolis itself managed to guarantee the maximum desired acoustics. It is in this space that the famous works of Euripides, Aeschylos, Sophocles and Aristophanes were presented for the first time.
