1. Valley of the Gods

The landscape of the Valley of the Gods is characterized by mesas, buttes, and spires made of Navajo sandstone, shaped by millions of years of erosion and wind. The formations vary in size and shape, creating a surreal, almost otherworldly appearance. Some of the most famous rock formations in the area include "The Sleeping Indian" and "The Elephant Butte." 2. Moki Dugway

The Moki Dugway is a dramatic and scenic stretch of road located in southeastern Utah, near the town of Mexican Hat. It is a portion of State Route 261 that ascends the steep cliffs of Cedar Mesa, providing travelers with a thrilling drive and stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape. The Moki Dugway is a gravel switchback road that climbs approximately 1,100 feet over a distance of about 3 miles, offering panoramic vistas of Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, and the San Juan River.

3. Cedar Mesa

Cedar Mesa is a large, elevated plateau located in southeastern Utah, known for its striking desert landscapes, rich archaeological history, and scenic beauty. It spans roughly 600 square miles and sits at an average elevation of around 5,000 feet, offering sweeping views of the surrounding canyons, mesas, and desert terrain. Cedar Mesa is part of the larger Colorado Plateau, characterized by its deep red sandstone cliffs, mesas, and rock formations.
