Itinerary
1. Arrive at Versailles, one of the most famous palaces in the world, and once the residence of the Louis the XIV, the Sun King. You will admire the State Apartments of Louis XIV and the breathtaking Hall of Mirrors with your experienced guide.
2. Leave Versailles behind for a short drive with your expert guide to Giverny. The picturesque French countryside serves as scenery along the way. Before more sightseeing, take a nice break for a 3-course lunch (included in the price) at a favorite restaurant of your guide. The menu includes a starter, main course, wine, dessert, coffee.
3. After you lunch with your guide you will visit the house and gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny. Admire the Clos Normand flower gardens, visit his studio, and stroll through the beautiful gardens to find the recognizable Japanese bridge captured in his Water Lilies series and other paintings. Afterward, you will have time to walk in the village of Giverny to admire flowered houses, art galleries, and cafes.
