1. Vilnia River

Discover the heart of Vilnius through the winding and picturesque Vilnios River, affectionately known by locals as Vilnelė. This river, which bestowed its name upon the capital, is a beloved spot where poets find inspiration, giggling children chase ducks, and blushing lovers enjoy romantic dates. The river's winding, rocky, and dynamic character makes every visit a unique experience.

2. Uzupis

Užupis, district in Vilnius, separated from the Old Town by the Vilnelė River. Once a troubled area in the early 1990s, Užupis has blossomed into a vibrant neighborhood of artists, intellectuals, and entrepreneurs. On April 1, 1997, the residents whimsically declared independence, creating their own republic complete with its own currency, anthem, and constitution, embodying a truly free spirit. Crossing the river of Vilnelė'the best way to enter and discover this bohemian enclave.
