Itinerary
1. Embark on an engaging small-group tour of Verona, exploring the city’s most iconic landmarks. Enjoy a scenic one-way cable car ride and take in breathtaking views from the top of Saint Peter Hill.
2. Begin your journey at Bra Square, located in the heart of Verona. Explore this bustling public square known for its vibrant atmosphere and picturesque architecture. Follow your guide to see the elegant palaces and historic buildings. With its wide array of restaurants, cafes, and shops, Bra Square offers visitors a taste of traditional Veronese cuisine and a chance to immerse in the city's lively culture.
3. Follow your guide for the unforgettable journey to the Arena in Verona, one of the most remarkable ancient Roman amphitheaters in the world. Explore the Arena's vast corridors and galleries, and listen to stories of the gladiators and spectacles that once took place in this grand structure. Admire the Arena's intricate architecture and marvel at the impressive preservation of this nearly 2,000-year-old monument. (Tour does not enter the Arena on Mondays as it is closed.)
4. Visit Juliet's House which is believed to have belonged to the Cappello family, who inspired Shakespeare's famous tragic love story "Romeo and Juliet". See the famous balcony where Juliet is said to have stood while Romeo declared his love for her. Take photos of the statue of Juliet in the courtyard and try your chances for good luck in love. (Indoor visit is not included)
5. Explore this elegant square which was once the political heart of Verona. See several important historical palaces and houses. Learn about the importance of Dante Alighieri, the famous Italian poet as you stand under his statue.
6. Walk around this bustling market square, which has a long history dating back to Roman times. Wander through the colorful outdoor market, sample local foods and wines, and admire the beautiful medieval architecture surrounding the square. Continue your journey across the river and take the cable car up the hill for the beautiful views of Verona. (Tasting and shopping at Piazza delle Erbe are not included in the guided tour. These are optional and may be explored independently.)
7. From outside, you will also get to see the elaborate Della Scala Medieval Tombs which honor Verona's medieval lords. Be sure to ask your guide any questions about this area’s history and culture.
8. End your tour at the Piazza Bra with enough information to help you navigate Verona.

The Verona Arena will be closed from January 7th to March 20th due to the Olympic Games. Instead of an inside visit, you will see the Arena from the outside while your guide explains its history.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
The cable car ticket covers the uphill journey only. Walking downhill is part of the experience and offers scenic views along the Adige River.
Tasting and shopping at Piazza delle Erbe are not included in the guided tour. These are optional and may be explored independently.
The Arena is closed on Mondays; therefore, Arena visits are not included on those days.
The interior of Juliet’s House is not visited as part of this tour.
We kindly request that you arrive at the designated meeting point 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has started.
