Meeting and Pickup
The Eagle’s Nest bus departure point, located on the Obersalzberg mountain in Berchtesgaden, Germany: Salzbergstrasse 45, 83471, Berchtesgaden, Germany The tour guide will be located at the top of the stairs & ramp and will have a sign reading "Discover Eagle's Nest" clearly displayed.
End Point
The Daily Eagle’s Nest Tour will end directly up at the Eagle’s Nest building, where guests can enjoy their free time and return at the set time on their bus tickets back down the mountain by themselves.
Redemption Instructions
Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time, in order to check in with your tour guide before the tour begins. Your tour guide will be located at the top of the stairs & ramp at the Eagle’s Nest bus departure location - Salzbergstrasse 45, 83471, Berchtesgaden, Germany. Your tour guide will have "Discover Eagle's Nest" clearly displayed and will be holding a printed list with the names of the participants for the tour. Please bring along a copy of your tour confirmation. It doesn't need to be a printed copy, a digital copy on a mobile phone or tablet will do just fine. Getting Here If you are arriving for the tour by car, there are 3 paid parking lots located directly at the address. If arriving for the tour via public transport, the 838 bus from the Berchtesgaden bus station will bring you to the meeting location; the stop you need is called “Dokumentation Obersalzberg”. Useful Info For Your Visit We recommend you dress accordingly for local weather conditions and bear in mind we will be travelling to the peak of a mountain. Weather can be changeable and can often change very quickly. The tour involves being outside in all weathers, so if the forecast suggests rain, please be prepared to be outside in the rain. During your free time up at the Eagle’s Nest, you will have the opportunity to walk along a hiking trail behind the building, along a stoney path, with concrete steps. We would recommend wearing comfortable, sensible walking shoes if you wish to do this.
