1. Your adventure begins with convenient hotel pick-up in Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, or Field. Sit back and relax as we travel through the heart of the Canadian Rockies, passing soaring peaks, glacial rivers, and alpine forests on our way to Yoho National Park.
2. Takakkaw Falls – A True “Yoho!” Moment Prepare to be blown away by the thunderous power of Takakkaw Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada at an incredible 833 feet. A short, easy hike leads you to the base of the falls, where mist fills the air and rainbows often appear on sunny days. Fed by the Daly Glacier and surrounded by Burgess Shale fossil beds, this stop perfectly captures the awe that gave Yoho National Park its name.
3. Natural Bridge – Carved by Time and Water Natural Bridge is where the powerful Kicking Horse River has carved a dramatic rock formation over centuries. A short, easy walk leads to multiple viewpoints where you can feel the rumble of the water rushing beneath your feet.
4. Emerald Lake – Iconic Turquoise Beauty Discover the world-famous Emerald Lake, known for its brilliant turquoise color and mirror-like reflections of surrounding peaks. 6. Wapta Falls – Feel the Power of Nature Next, we head to the mighty Wapta Falls, a wide and powerful cascade fed by the Waputik Icefield. This easy to moderate hike takes you through peaceful forest trails to viewpoints above the falls and down to the roaring base. The crashing water, cool mist, and dramatic canyon scenery make this one of Yoho’s most unforgettable hidden gems.
7. Scenic Return & Hotel Drop-Off We end the day with a scenic drive back through Yoho and Banff National Parks, returning you to your hotel filled with unforgettable memories of waterfalls, turquoise lakes, and hidden mountain gems.
