During the trip you will descent 140 metres underground to explore the fascinating chambers and tunnels made of salt. Learn about the history of the beginning of salt picking and see the authentic mining machines. Your English speaking guide will take you for a 2,5 h tourist route almost 3 kilometres long.

Pickup Information

Customer needs to provide their accommodation address in order to perfom hotel pickup. In case of lack of this information customer will be awaited at our meeting point at Straszewskiego 14 Street. Some of the hotels located in Kraków Old Town are in traffic restricted area and no direct pickup is available. In that case we provide a pickup from closest possbile pickup point.

You will be picked up from your selected location between 9:00am to 2:00pm depending on Salt Mine's availability to start the tour.

Each traveler is allowed a maximum size of any baggage allowed Wieliczka Salt Mine is 30x20x10 cm

Temperatures underground ranges between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius so please bring warm clothing.

There are 800 steps to climb so please wear comfortable shoes.

Roundtrip transportation is available from most centrally located Krakow hotels. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. You are required to wait at the reception 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
