Overview
The discovery of Lévis and its maritime, rail and commercial history is different from the history of Québec City. Our guide will help you discover lesser-known aspects of the history of Lévis during both the French and English colonies. The social changes of the Canadian period are also visible in Old Levis. For the summer season 2025 (5 July to 21 September) our visit to Lévis ends with a tasting at the farmers market of Lévis. This tasting takes place with some merchants and farmers present on Sundays at the public market of Lévis. We conduct the same visit to the public market of Cap-Rouge on Saturdays from July 5 to August 31, 2025. Our guides are bilingual French and English, it is possible to have a guide speaking Spanish or Italian by applying a week in advance.

Itinerary
1. Avenue Bégin is the center of Old Lévis where you will discover the architecture and history of Lévis. A stop is planned in one or two local businesses.
2. We also pass on rue Saint-Louis to discover the community side of Lévis.
3. A visit inside the church is scheduled on Sundays when the church is open to the public. On other days, admission is possible when the visit is booked in advance.
4. Stop at the Boutique du Quartier at the corner of Cote du Passage and rue Saint-Louis in Old Lévis. In this place, we offer a tasting of bites of local products with a non-alcoholic beverage. In addition, other local businesses offer their products, including a jewelry store made in Quebec.
5. Meeting point at the statue of the Chevalier de Lévis. Learn more about the story of François-Gaston de Lévis, a high-ranking soldier who inspired the city's name a century after his stay in Québec. Magnificent view of Quebec.
6. We pass the house Alphonse-Desjardins. This museum explains how Alphonse and Dorimene developed this cooperative financial movement. Several images and artifacts describe their family screw while the first bank was in their house. A place to visit more after our visit with the guides of this place of memory.
