From Amsterdam we take you by bus to the typical fishing village Volendam. After an orientation guided walk with our live guide for 20 minutes, you'll have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Duration: 90 mins

2. Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm

You will have the opportunity to see how world-famous cheese is made. And, of course, to taste some cheese.

Duration: 30 mins

3. Kooijman Souvenirs & Clogs Wooden Shoe Workshop

Watch live demonstrations of craftsmen at work, including a clog maker crafting the famous wooden shoes of the Netherlands.

4. Zaanse Schans

First stop is the windmill village of Zaanse Schans, where you can admire still functioning windmills and typical wooden houses. You can also watch a clog maker at work, crafting the famous wooden shoes of the Netherlands.

5. Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)

If selected, the tour includes an open departure ticket for the popular Amsterdam Canal Cruise. The ticket is provided during tour check-in. The canal cruise is operated by Stromma, with departure locations at Damrak and Central Station. The canal cruise starts in the heart of Amsterdam near Central Station. Routes vary depending on canal traffic, but you will see the UNESCO-listed 17th-century canals, including the Herengracht, Keizersgracht, and Prinsengracht, along with the city’s iconic architecture. The cruise includes an audio guide in 19 languages and commentary from the captain.
