Explore the remarkable “Oriental Venice” water town Zhujiajiao and the some historical highlights of Shanghai on this wonderful private day tour. You will spend about half day in Zhujiajiao and another half day in Shanghai city. Besides beautiful water town, you also have choices to visit The Bund, Yu Garden bazaar, Xitiandi, Jade Buddha Temple, People Square Park. This tour offers guide and transfer service package or you can upgrade yourself with lunch or dinner package which includes a choose to take a gondola ride in Zhujiajiao or Huangpu River Cruise in Shanghai city.

1. Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet your professional guide at your central Shanghai hotel. Enjoy the comfortable ride to Zhujiajiao water town, one of the best-preserved ancient towns near the city. Choose the flexible morning or afternoon departure based on you schedule. Upon arrival, begin to explore the town with your guide, spend some quality time to visit the old stone paved alleyways, walk up ancient “Fang Sheng Bridge”, see interesting local street markets, historical landmarks, colorful handicrafts etc. learn the fascinating custom and culture from your knowledgeable guide. In addition, you will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride( Boat ride at your own costs if needed).

2. Yuyuan Old Street
In the afternoon, enjoy a flexible customized itinerary in the city and choose to visit some of incredible highlights based on your own preferences, following are recommended sites but if you have been to the places or have other interests please feel free to let your guide know and will make the adjustment accordingly. Famed as the “China Town” in Shanghai, spend fun time explore the area with its charming Ming and Qing Dynasties architecture, take a walk at nine lucky zigzag bridge in the middle lake of the town. Choose to visit the elegant ancient Chinese garden built more than 5 century( Yu garden close on every Mondays), immerse yourself in the beauty of the classic gardens dotted with ponds, pavilions, exquisite rockeries, trees, flowers etc.

3. Shanghai World Financial Center
Next head to Pudong New Island in Lujiazui, marvel at the spectacular skyscrapers and enjoy the nice walk along the sky bridge and set your cameral ready and take the wonderful photos in front of Oriental Pearl Tv tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Jinmao Tower. If a nice clear day, choose to go up to one of the top observation decks and enjoy a fantastic bird-eye view of the mega Shanghai city.

4. The Bund
Make a stop at the must-see attraction at Bund, take a relaxing scroll along Huangpu River and take in the most fabulous city view with both old and new architectures from 20th to 21st century.

5. Jade Buddha Temple
You may opt to choose to visit the famed Jade Buddha Temple. Explore different complex with various Buddhist status and ornaments, admire the two most beautiful Jade buddha statues from Burma, learn the local fascinating religious custom, culture and wisdom from your expert guide. If you have been to above-mentioned sites, the other optional sites available to choose based on the time you have such as: Former Frech Concession ,People’s square and Park, Xintiandi, Tianzifang, Shanghai Museum,Nanjing road shopping street etc. After the wonderful visit, your will be dropped off at your Shanghai hotel or other downtown area as per your requests.
