The visit to the Edificio Real at Mafra was superb. I had long desired to visit the Palace and the Convent. There is so much to see and the information available in the Rooms, Halls, Exhibition Cases, etc is very good and to the point. The lighting in most of the Rooms can be improved as most of the time it was quite dark. It is a pity that one can visit just the first few metres of the Library. Yet, I understand because in the part where visitors cannot stroll, the books do not have the protective perspex. It would have been an enhanced experience walking to the centre of the Library. An Audiovisual introduction to the marvellous experience can be useful.

The e tickets provided by Tiqets were great. They worked well in the ticket office at the palace. The palace was fantastic and well worth the entrance fee.
