Meeting and Pickup

Redemption Instructions
Important: Arrive Early! Please be in the Silfra car park at least 15 minutes before your tour starts. Your punctuality is crucial for the smooth running of the tour. Late arrivals may miss the briefing and could be unable to participate. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Participants are responsible for carefully reviewing our Snorkeling Handbook before the tour (https://adventures.is/media/240250/arctic-adventures-snorkeling-in-silfra-fissure-guide.pdf) GUEST REQUIREMENTS All participants must meet the following requirements in order to safely participate: • Be able to swim and be comfortable in the water • Be able to understand and communicate in English • Have a moderate level of fitness • Be within safety gear size parameters: Height: 150 cm-200 cm (4’11’’ - 6’7’’) Weight: 45-120 kg (99-265 lbs) • Have signed medical clearance from a doctor if you have any conditions outlined in the handbook. Certain medical conditions disqualify guests from participating, while others require official doctor's clearance. All snorkelers must fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. For your safety, our guides reserve the right to deny participation if the above requirements are not met. MEETING POINT The meeting point for this adventure is at the Silfra parking lot - ''Arctic Adventures Silfra Fissure'' in Google Maps. It is in Thingvellir National Park. • Where to park: Type “Thingvellir Parking P5” into Google Maps for directions on where you can park your car. Please note parking fees apply. This is 400m away from where you will meet your guide in the parking lot with vans and guides. IMPORTANT: Participants are responsible for reviewing our Snorkeling Handbook before the tour. The handbook contains important medical and safety information. If guests do not meet the requirements for safe participation, we are unable to accommodate them on the tour
All participants must be able to swim independently, comfortable in the water, and able to understand English to be able to safely participate in the tour
Minimum age is 12 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian booked on the same tour.
Glasses cannot be worn under the goggles. Please bring contact lenses if required.
We provide a thermal undersuit and dry suit to wear over your clothing while snorkeling
PLEASE BRING: Warm base layers, preferably made from fleece or wool (not cotton), warm socks, a small towel and a change of clothes (just in case)
Medical issues outlined in our handbook require doctors approval to join the tour. Some conditions mean guests cannot participate.
Pregnant people are unable to participate due to the risk of water entering the suit
