Important: Arrive Early! Please be in the Silfra car park at least 15 minutes before your tour starts. Your punctuality is crucial for the smooth running of the tour. Late arrivals may miss the briefing and could be unable to participate. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Participants are responsible for carefully reviewing our Snorkeling Handbook before the tour (https://adventures.is/media/240250/arctic-adventures-snorkeling-in-silfra-fissure-guide.pdf) GUEST REQUIREMENTS All participants must meet the following requirements in order to safely participate: • Be able to swim and be comfortable in the water • Be able to understand and communicate in English • Have a moderate level of fitness • Be within safety gear size parameters: Height: 150 cm-200 cm (4’11’’ - 6’7’’) Weight: 45-120 kg (99-265 lbs) • Have signed medical clearance from a doctor if you have any conditions outlined in the handbook. Certain medical conditions disqualify guests from participating, while others require official doctor's clearance. All snorkelers must fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. For your safety, our guides reserve the right to deny participation if the above requirements are not met. MEETING POINT The meeting point for this adventure is at the Silfra parking lot - ''Arctic Adventures Silfra Fissure'' in Google Maps. It is in Thingvellir National Park. • Where to park: Type “Thingvellir Parking P5” into Google Maps for directions on where you can park your car. Please note parking fees apply. This is 400m away from where you will meet your guide in the parking lot with vans and guides.
