One of the latest additions is the Sea Lion, and Otter Spotlight, a mischievously fun display of the behaviors of some of the most beloved sea creatures. Hosted by the Pacific Point Marine Conservation Center, you’ll be taken on a fascinating tour of the lives and behaviors of Asian small-clawed Otters and Californian sea lions.

The Sea Lion and Otter Spotlight proudly showcase the quirky behavior of these lovable creatures as you observe their characteristics and talents in person. Animal Experiences at SeaWorld Orlando

Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin

The habitat of Antarctica Exhibit allows guests to explore the peculiar habits and behaviors of 5 different species of penguins as you watch them interact in their very own SeaWorld Penguin Colony. Watch them play on land, in their ideal weather conditions, just like their natural habitat. Or you can see them in action as they dive, play, and ‘hunt’ underwater.

Don't forget to bring a sweater or coat with you as the entire enclosure is kept at the Penguins' preferred cold temperatures, mimicking the environment you’d find in Antarctica. Dine with Orcas allows guests to dine next to Killer Whales as they play and receive care in SeaWorld’s facilities. Dolphin Cove

One of the largest interactive dolphin pools in the world, Dolphin Cove at SeaWorld, gives you an up-close and personal look at the playful bottlenose dolphin. You can observe either from above or from the glass underwater viewing area – whichever one you choose, you’ll watch as these cute sea creatures play, swim, and even interact with guests as they pass by.

There is also a neat extension to Dolphin Cove, where you can go and see mother dolphins and their calves at the Dolphin Nursery. Jewel of the Sea Aquarium

Enter into a cavern of intrigue, color, and wonder at the theme park in the Jewel of the Sea Aquarium. Explore the fascinating underwater creatures that fill the ocean, from amazing jellyfish to brightly colored schools of exotic fish; there is plenty to see in the Jewel of the Sea Aquarium. There is also a marine habitat that you can walk through that is covered by plexiglass, so you get a gorgeous view like no other of different fishes and underwater creatures.

Manatee Rehabilitation Center

Get an insider look at some of the rehabilitation efforts that SeaWorld is committed to. The Manatee Rehabilitation Center allows visitors to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what it takes to preserve these fascinating marine animals and the threats they face out in the wild. The Manatee Rehabilitation center is just part of a 5-acre rescue center spearheaded by SeaWorld, where they rehabilitate and care for the ill, injured, and orphaned sea creatures who would not otherwise survive if left alone.

Guests can take a behind-the-scenes tour (for an additional fee on top of admission), where they can see the work that SeaWorld Orlando Care Specialists do to help rehabilitate aquatic animals in need. There is a newly added portion of the rescue center where guests can freely roam and view the rehabilitation efforts of the manatees.

Manta Aquarium

Pacific Point Preserve

California Sea Lions are known to be the performers of the sea – for good reason. These mischievous creatures seem to get into a lot of good-natured fun, even in the wild. If, after catching up on the Sea Lion and Otter Spotlight, you want to see more of these playful creatures, then head to the Pacific Point Preserve.

The Pacific Point Reserve is an open-air water exhibit featuring rocks, Sea Lions, and tons of fun. Watch as the Sea Lions swim and play in the warm Florida sun on the rocks. Pelican Preserve

The Pelican Preserve is another one of the theme park’s open-air exhibits that house Pelicans that the park has rehabilitated. Due to severe illness and injury, the Pelicans that are seen at the Pelican Preserve wouldn’t survive in the wilderness, so instead, they are permanently housed at the Preserve.

You can see these gorgeous creatures up close as they interact, play, and hang out in the preserve. You’ll also get to learn a lot of interesting facts and tidbits about the lives of Pelicans and what you can do to help prevent injuries and damage to their species in the wild. Shark Encounter

One of the most intimidating marine animals, Sharks, are quick to get a bad rep. However, the Shark Encounter will hopefully change your mind about these majestic creatures. Walk in an underwater tunnel and see a selection of sharks and other species interact, swim, and play around.

Stingray Lagoon

The Stingray Lagoon is a fun, hands-on exhibit that allows you the opportunity to dip your hand into the pools and touch passing Stingrays. Although Stingrays have some tales of caution attached to their name, they are one of the most docile marine creatures you can encounter.

The stingray Lagoon has open pools that guests can crowd around to watch over 120 stingrays swim and interact with one another. If you’re feeling brave enough, you can even reach in and ‘high five’ a stingray as it passes by. The stingrays themselves range in size – the largest having a wingspan of around 5 feet. Wild Artic
