Given that skaters of all legal ages (beginners included) are welcome at the Indoor Ice-Skating Rink, it's important to stress the importance of extreme caution whenever you are on the ice. The following guidelines have been compiled for everyone's safety:

  • Definitely, no outside food is allowed.
  • The minimum age required for skating is 3 years of age.
  • Skaters under 14 require parental or guardian supervision, and children under the age of 3 must be accompanied on the ice by an adult at all times.
  • Skating rinks have a strict policy against using pucks and sticks during public skating times.
  • Playing on scraped ice is strictly forbidden.
  • Remember to keep your things as secure as possible. American Dream is not responsible for stolen, lost, or damaged items.
  • Please only skate in the direction of traffic. Prevent any countercurrents.
  • Skate in such a way that you don't disrupt the skating experience of other visitors.
  • Bench seating is off-limits to spectators and exclusively for use by skaters changing. Skating arenas have designated spectator areas outside of the rink's borders.
  • Immediately notify Team Members of any incident, no matter how big or small.

    No. Reservations are not required, but guests are encouraged to pick a date during purchase. If your desired date is fully booked, you may choose another date.

    Operating hours of the skating rink vary daily. They are usually open from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Please check American Dream's official website for up-to-date hours.

  7. How do I park at the American Dream? Do I need to pay, or is it free?

    The first 30 minutes of parking are free. A parking fee per vehicle is applied for the duration of the visit. Reserve your parking space in advance through the ParkMobile app. You can pay the parking fee in four different ways:

    • There are over 40+ pay stations located at the American Dream. You may pay through a credit card or through your digital wallet. Just insert your parking ticket, and the screen will prompt you to pay.
    • You may also pay cash at pay stations on the ground floor at each parking deck entrance.
    • Pay through ParkMobile on your phone. It's very convenient! Simply download the application, scan the ticket to validate, and insert them at any exit lanes as you leave.
    • Digital and credit card payments are also accepted at all exits.

  8. Am I required to wear a mask at the Ice Skating Rink?

    Fully vaccinated guests are no longer mandated to wear one but are still encouraged. Those not vaccinated are advised to wear and should continue to practice social distancing (6 feet away from others).

  9. Am I safe at The Rink against the virus?

    Of course! Frequent sanitization and cleaning are done throughout the American Dream that meets the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines.

  10. Can I just stand on the ice without skating?

    Unfortunately, no. Standing, and loitering are not allowed on the ice, especially during open skating.
