Chaperone Policy at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

The safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. In recent times, there has been an increase in incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior across the industry and at other major entertainment venues.

We are committed to keeping Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom a place where families and friends come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment.

As part of that commitment, we are implementing a chaperone policy.

Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to or remain in the park. This policy will be in effect daily starting at 4:00 p.m. local time. Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom reserves the right to begin enforcing the policy earlier on any given day.

The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. The chaperone must also accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be reachable by phone at all times.

Guests aged 16 years or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state-issued ID card, or passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. Those unable to provide proof of age may be denied entry.

Guests aged 15 years or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone while the Chaperone Policy is in effect will be subject to ejection. This requirement applies to all Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom ticket and season passholders.

Notice: Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom Security personnel utilize surveillance cameras and body-worn cameras as part of their overall security program.
