4. Can my young child (under 13) take a surf lesson?

Yes, children under 13 must take a private or family package lesson. For safety, only those 13 and older may join Open Group Lessons.

5. What can I bring during the lessons?

Please arrive in swimwear, bringing a towel, sunscreen, and water. They can safely store your belongings, so don't worry about your wallet, phone, camera, or extra clothes.

6. What items are included in the lesson?

Each lesson includes the use of a long-sleeve surf shirt, protective reef shoes, and the necessary equipment. Life jackets are available upon request. Wetsuit rentals are available for an additional fee.

7. What languages do the instructors speak?

The instructors use visual aids and are experienced with non-English speakers. They offer instruction in Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Sign Language.
